100 DRAWINGS for LOVE, DEATH & POLITICS

Drawings For Love, Death and Politics is an ongoing series of conceptual drawings for which Creek uses a range of different graphic styles and mediums: representational and abstract rendered drawings, watercolours, diagrams, notations from everyday life and collage among so many others.

The works often incorporate aspects of the working process such as spills and stains. Individual images range across the personal and public, the aesthetic and the emotive, interweaving layers of history and experience. Much as Creek constructs the works themselves, this plethora of information begins to form an idiosyncratic, philosophical narrative.

The works, all of which adhere to the same format, are displayed in groups and series as arrays and incomplete grids, often re-ordered and organised to change the patterns of images and their relations over time.
